IV antibiotics, IV fluids and rehydration
When oral treatment isn't enough — significant dehydration, poor absorption, or infections that need faster antibiotic levels — our clinicians can start an IV pathway in the clinic and monitor you for the episode.
IV antibiotics
Suitable outpatient IV antibiotic dosing under clinical supervision. Cases needing inpatient care are referred appropriately.
Learn more →IV fluids & dehydration
Assessment for gastro, hyperemesis, migraine dehydration and heat illness with IV rehydration where indicated.
Learn more →Wounds, sutures, dressings, splints
Our urgent care team performs common minor procedures on-site: wound cleaning, sutures, tissue glue, wound clips, dressings, burn care, foreign body assessment and simple splinting for suspected minor fractures. Where eligible Medicare-bulk-billed procedure components apply under MBS criteria, they will be billed accordingly.
Built on the international urgent care evidence base
Our care model draws on published urgent-care standards from the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care (RNZCUC), the Australian Government's Medicare Urgent Care Clinic (Medicare UCC) framework, and the UK's NHS Urgent Treatment Centre model. These frameworks describe the range of presentations, staffing, on-site diagnostics and safe-transfer protocols that define modern urgent care.
